Registered Psychotherapist and EMDR Therapist located in Toton, Nottingham NG9.

My approach is about validating your personal experiences and understanding your unique way of being in the world. Together, we explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges with curiosity and compassion. You deserve a space that acknowledges you—without conditions or preconceptions, where your identity, strengths, and struggles are met with full acceptance and affirmation.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a therapeutic approach designed to help you understand the deep-rooted emotions and experiences that influence your behaviours, thoughts and feelings. Together, we'll explore your past, including your childhood, to uncover patterns and unresolved conflicts that may be affecting your present life. We will work towards bringing unconscious thoughts and feelings to the surface, fostering your self-awareness and insight. I will help you to understand these hidden aspects of yourself so that you can achieve profound emotional healing and lasting change.

Holding a safe, warm and compassionate space for women and girls to heal is at the heart of my practice.

Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that includes art making and creativity as a way to express and process emotions, thoughts, and experiences. It combines the therapeutic process with the creative process, allowing you to explore your feelings through creative means. This type of therapy can help you gain insights into your emotions, reduce stress, improve self-esteem, and promote healing by providing a non-verbal outlet for expression. It's especially beneficial for individuals who have experienced trauma or experiences that are ‘felt’ or beyond the scope of words. When words aren’t enough, we have art therapy. THERAPY WITH FRANK

Frank is a gentle-natured, caring, and attuned rescue cat with exceptionally soft fur. He has a remarkable ability to support trauma therapy and has helped many women feel emotionally safe and secure during sessions. Frank will sit peacefully on your knee and gently bop his head towards your face if he senses you’re struggling to stay present. He adores chin and ear rubs, purring loudly to let you know you’ve hit the right spot. If you would like therapy with Frank, you are more than welcome to request his presence.
